About Us

Ruthine and Bob
Home is where we park it
We are septuagenarians who retired at 65, got rid of everything in our house, sold the house, bought a truck and fifth wheel trailer, and hit the road. We are blessed with five children. When they were young, we were heavily involved in various children organizations. As they outgrew these, we became very active in church organizations. Now that we are retired, we continue to volunteer, mostly in National Parks. Between the two of us we have volunteered 10,000 hours in National Parks (about one half at Big Bend National Park in west Texas). The most satisfying times in our lives are when we are volunteering. We are blessed to be able to continue.
